Stonewashed after sewing, soft from the start
Most flat sheets are cut from fabric stonewashed in bulk. We do it the other way around: each linen flat sheet is sewn first, then stonewashed, so it arrives soft and lived-in with no stiff break-in period. The linen is pre-shrunk, so it keeps its size wash after wash.
A flat sheet sits between you and your duvet, so it is the layer you feel most. Ours is 100% flax linen, naturally breathable and temperature-regulating, cool in summer and warm in winter.

What size linen flat sheet do I need?
Our linen flat sheets come in 170×290, 220×290, 240×290 and 260×290 cm. Choose a size that covers your mattress width with enough left over to tuck in on each side. Full measurements are on each product page.
What is a flat sheet, and do I need one?
A flat sheet is the loose, un-elasticated layer between you and your duvet. It is optional, but many sleepers love it: it keeps the duvet cleaner for longer, adds a breathable layer you can sleep under on warm nights, and gives the bed a crisp, made feel.
Is linen bedding good for sensitive skin?
Linen is naturally breathable, hypoallergenic and antibacterial, with a soft, dry feel against the skin. As the layer closest to you under the duvet, a flat sheet is one a sensitive sleeper feels all night, which is why we make ours from pure flax linen.
What is the linen flat sheet made of?
100% flax linen, woven at a substantial 175 g/m², with yarn from certified European spinning mills. Every sheet is sewn, dyed and stonewashed in Portugal in small batches, then pre-shrunk so it keeps its size.
How do I wash and care for linen bedding?
- We recommend washing your linen before first use.
- Turn the piece inside out before washing.
- Wash in the machine at 40°C max, with a mild detergent. Skip bleach and fabric softener. Both damage linen fibres.
- Don't overload the drum. Linen likes room to move during a wash.
- Hang to dry. Shake first to reduce creasing. Or tumble dry on a gentle cycle, stopping before fully dry.
- You can iron if you prefer a crisper finish, though you'll lose the stonewashed, lived-in texture.
