The anniversary tradition
Linen, the anniversary tradition
Linen is the traditional gift for the 4th wedding anniversary and the modern gift for the 12th. It is a quiet, fitting symbol: a material that softens with every wash and grows more comfortable with each passing year.
Like a marriage, linen is made to be lived in. It carries the marks of everyday life and only feels more like home for it, which makes it a gift that means something long after the day itself.

Good to know
Which wedding anniversary is linen?
Linen is the traditional gift for the 4th wedding anniversary and the modern gift for the 12th. Either occasion is a lovely reason to give bedding that grows softer with the years.
What makes linen a good anniversary gift?
Linen is a gift used every day and remembered every night. It softens with each wash, regulates temperature through the seasons, and only feels more like home as the years pass, which makes it a fitting symbol for a marriage.
Can I give a full bedding set?
Yes. Our Bedding Set is the centrepiece of the anniversary edit: a complete, ready-to-gift bundle in elegant neutrals like Cream, Natural and Stone, or romantic tones such as Blush and Terracotta.
Do you offer a gift card?
A gift card is on the way. If you would rather let the recipient choose their own colours and sizes, it is a flexible way to give. In the meantime, a full set or a pair of pillowcases makes a beautiful gift.
How do I care for linen?
Machine wash warm or cold with a mild detergent and tumble dry on low or line dry. Linen is easy to live with and looks better with each wash, so there is no need to iron unless you prefer a crisp finish.
What about delivery and returns?
We ship across the EU (excluding Cyprus) and the UK, typically within 3 to 5 working days. If something is not quite right, returns are straightforward.
